REV
Creation 2010
REV speaks of the relationship between hope and suffering. The quest to live immensely our little lives. A clown, four circus artists and three singers. An explosive mix of circus, dance, song and theatre.

We will look at our dreams as news channel about the world.
We will listen to the shadows to hear a nocturnal report, we will distance ourselves from newscasts, surveys, advertisements and other useless information to existence. We will use this material to build a narrative, as a mirror of the infiltration of our dream reality on our waking day : a volatile, alternative reality. Imagine understanding society by playing our dreams is a wacky and political act. A quest for revolution.
REVOLUTION
This word does not advance in straight lines, it contains the aspiration of rotating around a center of gravity.
Turnaround. A passage on the trail of a circle, returning to the starting point, but transformed. We revolve around ourselves at least once in our lives : incredible spiral of the foetus to navigate the narrow passage of the pelvic cavity. The risk of circus is itself a turnaround. Circus exposes the metaphysical alchemy of revolution - the acrobat’s somersault, the juggler’s spin, the trapezist’s pirouette. Turning on oneself, curled up like a spring, to be reborn and escape from the clutches of death. Revolution. Rotation. Repetition. These keywords in the circus refer to its primary meaning circle.
